From The Inside Flap: If you hate: chick lit, Che Guevara merchandise, pop Kabbalah, cosmetic-surgery-gone-wrong-as-TV-entertainment, Oscar parties, hedge fund boys, Mac junkies. ikea, or even just the word “uber,” then you need… is it just me or is everything shit? An encyclopedic attack on modern culture, this is the standard reference for everyone who believes that everything is shit.  Which it is.  This book says NO to the phony ideas, terrible people, useless products, and annoying doublespeak that increasingly dominate our lives.  This brand-new edition is based on the runaway UK bestsellers and adapted for American readers by ex Daily Show and The Simpsons contributing writer Brendan Hay.  Never before has a book been so entirely full of shit.

Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Shit? is a book for anybody who has had enough with all the gizmo’s, gadgets, slang and all the other “insanely annoying modern things”.  In one of the funniest books I have ever read Steve, Alan and Brendan have hit the nail on the head with everything from Ads for Credit Cards, Faux Swearing to Inconvenient Truths and Restaurant Service Charges.  The authors have written down what annoys, pisses off or just plain confuses us about everything modern.  This book made me laugh out loud and was genuinely amusing.  I highly recommend this book for anybody that needs a good laugh.
